Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of togetherpieces.com and all related services (the "Services"), operated by Together Pieces ("Together Pieces", "we", "us" or "our").

By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

We may update these Terms by posting a revised version on this page. Continuing to use the Services after changes are posted means you accept them.

You must be at least 18 years old to place an order. By using the Services you confirm that you are 18 or older and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

Together Pieces lets you upload a personal photo, apply artistic transformations to it, choose a puzzle size and order a custom printed jigsaw puzzle that arrives in a gift tin.

Artwork previews are generated automatically using third-party artificial intelligence technology. Results vary in quality, accuracy and artistic interpretation, and we cannot guarantee that a generated look will match your expectations. You always choose which preview to print, and you can regenerate or upload a different photo before ordering.

The Services are not a photo storage or backup service. Please keep your own copies of any photo you upload. We may delete uploaded images in line with the retention practices described in our Privacy Policy.

"Your Content" means the photos, images and other materials you upload to or create through the Services. You keep ownership of Your Content.

By uploading, you grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, process, store and transmit Your Content solely to provide the Services to you. That includes sending your photo to our artwork generation provider and your chosen artwork to our print partner so your order can be fulfilled.

You represent and warrant that:

• You own Your Content or have all rights and permissions needed to upload and use it.
• Your Content is not copied from a professional photographer, stock library or any other source whose rights you do not hold.
• If Your Content shows other people, you have their permission to use their likeness in connection with the Services.
• You will not upload photos of strangers, public figures or celebrities without proper authorisation.
• If Your Content shows a child, you are the parent or legal guardian, or you have consent from the parent or legal guardian.
• Your Content does not break any law or infringe any third-party rights.

You agree not to upload or submit content that:

• Is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory or otherwise objectionable.
• Infringes any patent, trademark, copyright or other intellectual property right.
• Contains sexually explicit material, and in particular any sexual content involving minors.
• Promotes violence, discrimination or hatred against any individual or group.
• Contains malicious code, viruses or any form of malware.

Automated screening may flag or block uploads without notice. Screening will not catch everything, and the absence of a flag is not our approval of Your Content. We may refuse, remove or disable any content that breaks these Terms, at our discretion and without prior notice.

The artistic transformations are produced by third-party AI services. You acknowledge that:

• Outputs can be unpredictable and we make no guarantee about their accuracy, quality or suitability for any particular purpose.
• We are not responsible for intellectual property issues arising from generated artwork.
• Images sent to our artwork provider through its business interface are not used to train its models.
• You may use the generated images for personal, non-commercial purposes, including as printed on your puzzle. You may not resell, redistribute or commercially exploit them separately from the physical product.

We respect the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe your copyrighted work has been used on the Services in a way that infringes your rights, email hello@togetherpieces.com with:

• A description of the copyrighted work you say has been infringed.
• A description of where the infringing material appears on the Services.
• Your contact details, including name, address, email and phone number.
• A statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act for them.
• Your physical or electronic signature.

We may remove content and terminate access for repeat infringers.

Prices are shown on the website in US dollars and may change at any time without notice. The price shown at checkout is the price that applies to your order.

Payment is processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your card details. Multi-item discounts, if shown, apply only to the order in which they are displayed and cannot be combined with other offers unless stated.

By placing an order you agree to pay the total shown at checkout, including product price, shipping and any applicable taxes. Your order is confirmed once payment is completed.

We currently ship to addresses within the United States. Puzzles are printed, boxed and shipped by our US print and fulfilment partner, typically within 2 to 4 business days of your order, then sent with tracking.

Delivery estimates are estimates, not guarantees. We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers or events outside our reasonable control. It is your responsibility to give a complete and accurate shipping address; orders lost due to an incorrect address may not be replaceable free of charge.

Each puzzle is made to order. You may cancel for a full refund within 2 hours of purchase by emailing hello@togetherpieces.com. After that window your puzzle enters production and cannot be cancelled.

If your puzzle arrives damaged, misprinted or otherwise not right, contact us within 30 days of delivery with a photo of the issue and we will remake or refund it. Because every puzzle is personalised, we cannot accept general change-of-mind returns outside this guarantee.

Refunds are issued to the original payment method and may take several business days to appear.

You agree not to:

• Use the Services for any unlawful purpose or in breach of these Terms.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, accounts or data.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Services, including by scraping, automated bulk requests or circumventing rate limits.
• Reverse engineer, copy or resell any part of the Services.
• Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with anyone.

The Services, including the website, branding, text, graphics, illustrations, style presets and software, are owned by Together Pieces or its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers those rights to you. You may not use our name or logo without our written permission.

The Services rely on third parties for payment, artwork generation, hosting, printing and delivery. Their own terms and privacy policies apply to their handling of your data, and we are not responsible for their acts or omissions beyond what these Terms require of us.

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error free or that colours, crops or generated artwork will exactly match what you see on your screen. Screen colour and print colour naturally differ.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Together Pieces will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill or photographs, arising from or related to your use of the Services.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the Services or an order is limited to the amount you paid for the order giving rise to the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Together Pieces and its officers, employees and partners from any claim, loss, liability or expense, including reasonable legal fees, arising from Your Content, your use of the Services or your breach of these Terms or of any law or third-party right.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time if you breach these Terms or if we reasonably suspect fraud or abuse. Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including content licences already granted for orders in production, intellectual property, disclaimers, liability limits and indemnities, will survive.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law rules. You and Together Pieces agree to first try to resolve any dispute informally by contacting hello@togetherpieces.com. If that fails, disputes will be handled by the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

To the extent permitted by law, any claim must be brought individually and not as part of a class or representative action.

• Entire agreement: these Terms and our Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and Together Pieces regarding the Services.
• Severability: if any provision is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force.
• Waiver: failing to enforce a right or provision is not a waiver of it.
• Assignment: you may not assign your rights under these Terms. We may assign ours without restriction.
• No third-party rights: these Terms do not create third-party beneficiary rights.
• Force majeure: we are not liable for failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
